Get to know our walks in the Oum Errabiae Valley
An Immersion in the heart of the Middle Atlas Mountains
A WALK ON FOOT ...IN THE HEART OF THE MIDDLE ATLAS... from Tiklit towards Ouiouane for about an hour... There begins the walk on foot through a rocky landscape towards Aguelman Ifighrawan... A lake surrounded by mountains and dense forests of cedar and oak. Inhabited by numerous nomads and herds of sheep... They reside in wooden huts...
A stop to enjoy taking pictures and admiring the grandeur of nature and the summit of Mount Aguelman Ifighrawan...
The trip takes about four hours, passing through places that sheltered nomads and were grazing lands, providing the essentials, water and grass for tired eyes in the middle of forests and oaks...
Passing through Mizd Oganouz, Moufoulous and Mounwal... Turning towards the springs of Sidi Ahmed Yakoub, leaving behind the nomadic world and changing the landscape suddenly from huts to houses with thatched roofs or tin, with streams flowing abundantly... Fruit trees here and there, apples, cherries, figs and fields sown with grains. The Ait Bou Diyehir tribe owns the land under the water springs and exploits it... The quiet and colorful life rises at the foot of the mountain... We pass through Takhchacht, change tribes to reach the area of Tihyi and the Ait Hayi tribe and the fertile lands and breathtaking landscapes lead us to Tarqa Ifrakh and Adraoui Ait Takhnifte, the Tiklit traffic circle and the Tanquinite dam... The journey ends at the starting point, Tiklit.
